Please help me escape the cubicle!

Help a fellow traveler buy some noodles

(yes...its free!)

If you have enjoyed any of my websites (Startbackpacking.com, ThailandTips.info, Peacebookings.com, or my vagabonding blog) or found them useful at all, please help! I am not a business or part of a larger organization....I'm just a lifelong traveler trying to avoid re-joining the miserable masses of corporate America.

An embarrassing amount of my personal time is dedicated to burning out my eyes in front of a computer to build these sites and to be honest, I barely make enough to buy noodles and the occasional Singah from it. Aside from the hundreds of hours invested, I have to pay for the hosting, domains, and even guest writers myself as well.

If you have a minute, please have a look at some of the favors you could do for me to keep me fed, happy, and most importantly - away from the cubicle life for another year!

ps: if you have a website, please let me know and I will gladly return the favor!

Leave a tip in the jar - its free!

No, I'm not talking about giving money. There is a better way. Whenever I visit a blog or website that provides free information, I try to make it a point to use their ad links. The website owner gets credit for the click and it keeps his sponsors happy. Its like leaving a tip in the jar for their hard effort. It will barely even put a strain on your finger. :)

If you plan to book travel or buy things on the web in the near future, please click through one of my links to do it! I have all the big names including Priceline, Travelocity, Ebay, Amazon, and hotels.com. I get a very small commission ($2 - $5) whenever someone books a hotel, flight, domain name, travel insurance, whatever...through my site. The price stays the same for you, only I get the money to buy noodles and the CEO doesn't.

Share my website with others

By adding my websites to the social bookmarking sites, it ensures a steady stream of visitors which keeps the site ranked high. This is very important and is the easiest thing to do! It takes only seconds to get a free account and recommend this to other travelers. You can even recommend several pages or articles from the same site, just click on this icon any time you see something worth sharing.

If you have time, please take a moment to recommend me on the top sites (StumbleUpon is the best):

Tell Others

Sharing my site with others by email or word of mouth will be an incredible help and perhaps your friends can find something from one of the sites that will enhance their trip!

If you have a homepage or travel blog, let's swap links! This will help both of us in Google and is a fun way to collaborate. Just send me an email here editor@startbackpacking.com to get it done.

Most Importantly

I would love to hear from you! I save every email (at least the nice ones :) ) and absolutely love hearing from readers. Let me know about your trips, both past and future. It feels great to know that someone is benefiting from my carpal tunnel and it lets me know that this is not just a waste of time. Here is a list of ways to contact me.

If you are insanely rich, or maybe just insane, you can donate directly via Paypal (even $2 would make me cry in joy before I lost consciousness).
